From planting a single tree to growing oysters or installing a multi-acre wetland, every restoration project helps return our watershed and the Chester River to a healthy state. At CRA, we work with technical experts, local governments, and landowners to implement strategic restoration projects throughout our watershed.
Some recent accomplishments include:
- planting over 10,000 native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers
- growing 200,000 oysters for sanctuaries in Langford Bay and Kent Island
- installing living shorelines on the banks of the Chester River
- installing wetlands and native habitat as part of the Natural Lands Project
